Our Team

Our Board of Trustees is committed to responsible governance and fulfillment of our mission and carrying on the legacy of Alfred N. Sanzari. The Foundation leadership team is made up of the following:

Dana Jareck was born and raised in New Jersey and has been a member of the Alfred N. Sanzari Family Foundation since 2015. Prior to working with the Foundation, Dana worked for Alfred Sanzari Enterprises as a leasing associate. Dana graduated with a Bachelors degree in Human and Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University and a Masters in Applied Developmental Psychology from Boston College.

Benita Raia was born and raised in New Jersey and has been a member of the Alfred N. Sanzari Family Foundation since 2015. Prior to working with the Foundation, Benita worked for Alfred Sanzari Enterprises as a leasing associate. Benita also worked in the Human Resources group at the Hertz Corporation. Benita graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources and a minor in Psychology from Ithaca College. 

Lisa Britt was born and raised in New Jersey and has been a member of the Alfred N. Sanzari Family Foundation since 2019. Prior to working with the Foundation, Lisa was a Vice President at JPMorgan in their Global Real Assets Marketing Group. Lisa also worked in the research group at real estate brokerage company GVA Williams. Lisa graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Business Management and a concentration in International Business from James Madison University.

David Sanzari is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Alfred Sanzari Enterprises. David oversees the company’s daily operations with the hallmark hands-on management style for which ASE has become known. He joined the company, under the watchful eye of his father, in 1970 as a Laborer in the Construction Department, where he rose through the ranks to become a Project Manager. During the course of his 40+-year career, he has earned industry-wide respect as a commercial real estate industry leader whose commitment to outstanding service and superior construction is unwavering. Active in a wide range of industry, community and civic organizations, David is a member of the Hackensack University Medical Center (HUMC) Board of Governors, HUMC Foundation Board of Trustees and the hospital’s Advisory Board of Directors. In addition, he serves as Chairman of HUMC’s Facility Planning Development Committee.

Joni Sanzari has been a board member of the ANS Family Foundation since it’s inception. Over the years, she has been involved with numerous education foundations and local charities. She played an instrumental role in the creation of the Hackensack Blue and Gold Scholarship Fund. In the past 20 years, the Fund has awarded thousands of dollars in scholarships and has enabled economically disabled Hackensack High School students to further their education. Additionally, Joni recently served as a parent member of the Villanova University President's Club.
